Hier on m’a dit, quand tu joues à Pokemon Go, tes données profitent à la CIA… ???
Alors évidemment, avec les mots clés Pokemon Go et CIA, tu ne peux pas faire autrement que de tomber sur Comment Pokémon Go est-il lié à la CIA?, un article de Sputnik, l’agence de presse Russe qui “dévoile ce dont les autres ne parlent pas”…
Un article qui dit:
“Le projet Pokémon Go a été créé conjointement par The Pokémon Company, Nintendo et Niantic, ancienne filiale de Google. Niantic a été fondé par John Hanke, également fondateur de la compagnie Keyhole, Inc. spécialisée dans la création de cartes géospatiales. La compagnie a été financée par In-Q-Tel, un fonds américain de capital-investissement mis en place par la CIA en 1999.”
Et donc non, In-Q-Tel ne finance pas Pokemon Go. Même si In-Q-Tel a bien financé Keyhole à l’époque:
“Keyhole, Inc., founded in 2001, was a pioneering software development company specializing in geospatial data visualization applications and was acquired by Google in 2004 for $35 million.[1] Initially launched as a spin-off of Intrinsic Graphics, first round funding came from a Sony venture capital fund and others, additional capital came from an NVIDIA bundling deal, from the CIA’s venture capital arm In-Q-Tel,[2] with the majority of In-Q-Tel’ funds coming from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency,[3] and from angel investor Brian McClendon[citation needed] (who later came on as a board member and VP).
